Inspiration Board: Our Barn Wedding

This is the inspiration for our barn wedding. Yum.

A Few Questions for YOU, dear reader

1) Are sixty of these enough? Is it insane to make 120?

2) Where can I find unbelievable fabric to make cloth napkins? Unbelievable mind you. Or I might go head and make those insane pom pom napkin rings and I don't know if that's a good idea. Or is it?

3) What colours of flowers should I get? Keeping in mind that the ring bearers are wearing blue seersucker and the bridesmaids are wearing "thistle" and "spiced wine" and "graphite" but I don't want to just do cream and I don't like matchies. Matchies is baaaaaaaaad for Hannah.

Share your thoughts, I'm in need of some thoughts.

One of my sisters, who is 20, found a bunch of barn inspiration boards and emailed them to me. I don't know where they came from but she's got the idea. Only summerier and pinker and laughier. You get the picture.

And Maybe

And maybe these, hundreds of them, and several of these. All hung at different levels from the barn rafters. I think that might make the idea of a barn wedding slightly more fan-effing-tastic. As would real glasses and spoons.

Barn Wedding

I am currently living in my parents summer house. There is a pool (frozen at the moment) and a barn, empty of cows. the top of this barn is big and lofted and full of hay. If I removed the hay and hung lanterns? I am very sick of caterers and site fees and all the big-picture-type-shenanigans. Which makes me think that a barn, in summer, with a view of the mountain and hundreds of candles and snapdragons in old bottles and maybe some caramelized onion and goat cheese tarts, maybe that would be a good idea for a wedding reception. What do you think?
